The Patricia Elder INTERNATIONAL AWARD, renamed in 2010 for long-time international specialist for CEE, Patty Elder, is designed to recognize
individuals whose outstanding and dedicated service and leadership have had a
significant impact on the delivery or enhancement of economic education
throughout the world.
CRITERIA:
Economic educators provide
service to their constituents in a variety of ways because of the diversity of
responsibilities and employment circumstances. The following criteria include
some of the types of service that may be performed; however the list is not exhaustive.
Furthermore, it is not assumed that every nominee will meet all criteria.
1.
Active role in international economic education programming.
2.
Innovative international economic education program
development.
3.
Enhancement of international economic education through
program delivery and service.
4.
Dedication and commitment to international economic education.
5.
Involved in the creative process of curriculum development.
ELIGIBILITY:
o Individuals
currently or previously engaged in the delivery of international economic
education regardless of their affiliation with CEE/NAEE network.
o Economic
educators who have not been granted this award in the last five years.
o Economic
educators who are not currently serving as members of the NAEE Awards Committee
or the NAEE Executive Committee.
